Where can I find more scientific information about the nutritional value of Common Sea-buckthorn ?

I once observed that its juice cured my muscle-soredness quickly, or at least helped in increasing my personal recovery rate. Does freshness of the juice play a role (maybe wrt to decay of vitamins?

Is it being used in certain products? Because I can't really give you the nutritional values of all the herbs in the world... – Ivo Flipse Apr 26 '11 at 7:13

@Manunciensis: In the body text of my question, I had already placed a link to another wikipedia article, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippophae_rhamnoides. I didn't realize there are (at least) two articles on the subject in the English-language Wikipedia. The link you provided is much more comprehensive, though. And even better than the German-language Wikipedia article. I don't remember how I ended up with the shorter article without discovering the longer one. It seems to be a "bug" in wikipedia. The two articles should be merged. – knb Apr 28 '11 at 8:41
