Went to two different doctors. One asked me to take the thyroid test empty stomach and another one with full stomach. I am confused. What's the right take?

I talked with several doctors today at the ER where I work, and they have not heard of having to eat or not eat before getting your thyroid blood work done. Is it possible that they are running additional tests besides the thyroid? I know that when looking at insulin and blood sugar levels, they are done with fasting. |
