Someone suggested me to take energy drinks like Red Bull when feeling excess fatigue at work. Even though I go for a one hour work out in the morning, I am suffering from stiffness of neck muscle spasms from the last six years. When I feel stiffness, I feel excess fatigue and energy drain.

I want to know how effective are energy drinks (like Red Bull) and how safe for health.

Hi RPK! Per the FAQ, we only accept nutrition questions as related to exercise. Additionally, general health questions as yours aren't accepted at all. – VPeric Mar 16 '12 at 10:56

NOTE: not all energy drinks are the same, but most like Red Bull will give you an intense high followed by an intense low. But as VPeric said, only nutrition related to exercise is what we want here. – Berin Loritsch Mar 16 '12 at 12:10
There is also some good information from a question about hydration in relation to sports drinks. – Matt Chan Mar 16 '12 at 13:03
