Suppose person A and B eat the same thing but person B eats 1 extra gram of salt. How much more water would person B tend to drink to excrete the salt?

Since salt water dehydrates you, you need to drink at the very least 30 mL of water. What is the exact figure?

Does your question have any relation to exercise? Because while our site title says nutrition, it has to be related to exercise as our FAQ mentions. And even then, do you have any practical use for this answer? Because else it would probably be more constructive to ask how much water one needs to drink during i.e. a marathon given certain circumstances – Ivo Flipse Apr 6 '12 at 12:52
I disagree with the comment, I think the question is valid, specially to bodybuilders – Edwin Soho Apr 6 '12 at 15:20
