It's been almost 6 years since I had surgery for both broken heels, with pins and plates put in. Since then my left foot is very supinated, so that I have a lot of pressure on the outside of the foot. I can bicycle but don't walk much. I have little side-to-side flexibility in the subtalar joint because of the injury/surgery. Recently I'm getting a lot of pain in the supinated foot, at pressure points near the edge/side of foot and in what I think is the extensor retinaculum. I'm trying to find out what to do about this supination problem, which is keeping me from cycling. Also, having my subtalar joints fused is not going to correct the supination issue.
