Burpees Enthusiast Guy!
First of all, I would like to tell you this: You have to change first your attitude towards exercise. Instead making it feels you boring, try to make it fun.
Climbers is easy than Burpeers and so Pushups than Burpees and so Squats than Pushups in the "Bodyweight Training Sense". However, each of these workouts has their specific functions or target area/s.
Anyhow, why not try this Set of Workouts for 5 to 7 sets and take only 1 minute rest after every set is rightly and completely done.
SET OF WORKOUTS that you might get interested:
10 Burpees
20 Climbers
15 Pushups
20 Squats
15 High Knees
then take 1 minute rest
and repeat the whole set 5 times or 7 times.
NOTE: NO rest between workouts. you can only take 1 minute rest after completing the whole Set.
Once you get use to this setup for 7 sets, try to increase the numbers of each workout, for example to:
20 Burpees
40 Climbers
30 Pushups
40 Squats
30 High Knees
Then if you have time to go out for Running, Jogging and Sprint, you may also try this SET of WOrkouts:
WARM UP
1.6k kilometer Warm Up Slow Run or Jogging
50 meters Walk
STARTS:
200 meters Sprint ( Run like there is no tomorrow BUT with extra care)
10 Burpees
20 Squats
Then take 2 minutes rest while walking.
Repeat the whole workout at least 3 Sets to 4 Sets then gradually increase to 6 sets to 7 sets.
NOTE: NO rest between workout. Complete the whole set then take the 2 minutes rest.
Once you get accustomed, increase your Sprint, Burpees and Squats with Jump, like for example to:
400 meters Sprint ) run like NO hell tomorrow)
20 Burpees
40 Squats with Jump
then take 2 minutes rest and repeat at least 3 sets to 4 sets, and so on.
Remember: NO rest between workout. Complete first the whole set then take your 2 minutes rest.
After completing your Training, do stretching then go home. ^_^
oh by the way, don't forget to eat light that can easily be digested for your fuel an hour or half hour before you start your training. In my case, I just eat Banana before my training. And I also bring Banana with me In case I feel hungry along my training. of course your water to keep you hydrated.
Try to do the training at least 3 to 4 times a week.
In my case, I do the following:
1st Day: Long Run, for an approx distance of 8k to 10k or more. up to you.
2nd Day: Rest
3rd Day: Combo Training (Burpeers, Climbers, Pushups, Squats, High Knees)
4th Day: Core Workout (Do Pushups, Dips, Situps, Planks) it is a short light workout though to serve as your rest
5th Day: Combo Training (Sprint, Burpees, Squats and Sprint)
6th Day: Rest ( do your house core or whatsoever)
7th day: Rest ( do your house core or whatsoever)
Oh Diet....
NEVER skip meals.
EAT your Breakfast healthy.
EAT your lunch
EAT your Dinner
Always include VEggies in your every meal a day, at least half of your meal are veggies then 30%-35% Healthy Protein then 15-20% Healthy Carbs like Brown Rice, Steamed Potato, etceteras. Hmmmmm but it depends, what's your goal. if losing weight for lean muscles mass, this may work. but if you're trying to increase your weight because you're so very thin then your Carbs should be at least 30-35% then protein at least 20% while veggies at least 50%. ^_^
Further, it also depends with your Body Type if you're a "Ectomorph", "Mesomorph", "Endomorph" or a "mix of both". Knowing your Body Type is very important.
Then once in a while, if you want to eat from fastfoods, no worries... as long as your daily diet are real foods.
Good Luck!
By the way, I think it is effective, not sure with you.
Becuase in my case, I was once a 90kilos 34 yrs. old man,
But today, thanks God, I'm now a 67kilos 34 yrs. old man

When I reach my target weight, I'll start to increase my muscles mass,
