Is a drastic calorie reduction harmful? @MattBronson: Let's be clear: are we 'meeting' your daily levels or 'exceeding' your daily levels? This is kind of important because if you're consuming all this stuff and only 'meeting' your levels then that's one thing, but if you are eating 150g more carbs per day than you are generally recommended to, that is completely another. |

Is a drastic calorie reduction harmful? @Mike I linked you a few sourced articles with multiple sources that took no time at all to find with neutral, common search terms. If that isn't going to convince you to be less hostile, do some research, and review what information is out there then nothing is going to! I am happy to give whatever information I can, but it's your responsibility to be intellectually honest and not pick at things like word choice in an article as grounds to dismiss it. If you aren't able to do that then I can't help you! |

Sore stomach muscles from push-ups It's kinda hard to say without seeing your form, but again resting for too long in the up position mimics a plank pretty closely. Putting your rear up too far would also take some of the emphasis off your chest and a put a bit more strain on your stomach. |

Is a drastic calorie reduction harmful? @mike: Oils that are raised to the level of frying spoil and form trans fats. Trans fats are WELL DOCUMENTED to spoil the process of absorbing micronutrients, and are popularly called a poison for the multitude harmful effects they have. Inadequate micronutrient absorption leads to 'famine' behavior in our bodies - this induces a predisposition toward fat storage. I will update my answer with links to your question. Next time, though, please do a few minutes of googling before accusing someone of not knowing what they're talking about; that's all the more it would've taken! |

What kind of muscle/joint/ligament do walking upstair/downstair involve? Could you explain a little bit more about where your pain is, and the quality of your pain? I'm pretty sure I can explain things, but I want to make sure I give you the correct details! |

Non-prick glucose meter Continuous glucose monitoring still requires a blood sample, and from personal experience I can tell you that they are every bit as uncomfortable as pinpricks, though you do not get things like swollen knuckles from overusing a finger. |
