comment Is being in a caloric surplus the only way to get fat?
To be technical, you can also put on weight with fluid retention from a variety of causes such as hormones, vitamin B1 deficiency, dehydration, sodium, hot weather, medication or disease.

comment Recovery plan of chronic lower back stiffness in Tennis
The best recovery plan for chronic low back stiffness is prevention: proper warm-up, proper form, proper cool down, shock absorbing footwear appropriate for the court's surface, a daily flexibility program, and a consistent strengthening/stabilization program. The serve is often a culprit in back pain and if a problem, the technique should be addressed by a good coach. Proper body mechanics during the stroke - core recruitment, weight shift etc. will also reduce strain to the spine.

comment How much spinach contains in a 1/2 cup?
Nutrition is not really covered here. This site about nutrition facts will give you the info you are looking for, and The World's Healthiest Food site points out that you should eat organic spinach if you want to avoid pesticides.

Body Fat percentage and your waist measurement will give you better information about your progress than your weight.

comment Foot muscle weakness related to overpronation
In addition to the foot muscles, have you already concluded that your lower extremity ranges and strength are normal? Often an over-pronation of the foot may be a result of reduced mobility or weakness somewhere else up the chain. The excessive pronation can be a compensation, not the actual problem.

comment What lifts shouldn't I do with a posterior labrum tear?
I agree with @John. Your medical team should be directing your rehab, not people on a site with no knowledge of your orthopedic evaluation.

comment work out makes my BP drop
Check with your doctor. If your blood pressure drops while you are working out, it may be an early warning sign for heart disease. It may not be a warning sign, but only your doctor can check it out.

comment What types of hip exercises are best suited for a runner?
This Clinical Review found weaknesses in hip abductors, external rotators and hip flexors on the involved side as compared to the uninvolved side in runners with patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) and iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS). So an important factor is the strength of one hip relative to the other, making sure that you strengthen both equally. And I would emphasize abduction over adduction. I was surprised at the hip flexors weakness vs the extensors in the review.

@Florian, they are usually a physical therapist or occupational therapist with specialized training. A good one should be able to help. Good luck.

comment Substitute powerlifting exercises for healing wrist injury
Did you see a hand therapist already? It sounds like extending your wrist is causing the pain. Sometimes a simple maneuver can restore the joint position of the little bones of the wrist.
