comment What exercises will help me open jars?
Or even better than a bottle opener get one of those grip pads that conform to the lid. They are quite handy and effective without the risk of damage. As an added benefit you still work the muscles needed for that activity. Think of it as the lid version of building up weight. By making the activity a bit easier you build up the specific muscles and supporting infrastructure needed to do it.

@RobSterach the proportion of "people who think getting bulky for a women is automatic" to "people who understand getting bulky is a lot of serious, focused effort for either sex" is disappointingly high. Most people do indeed have this misunderstanding that all it takes is a little bit of heavy lifting and BOOM, you look freakishly muscular. They don't make the connection between dismissing a man who "spends all day in the gym just to look like that" and that a woman would have to do the same - or more. Which is a sadly amusing example of cognitive dissonance.

comment Toning/Cutting while doing Stronglifts(5x5)
It is inaccurate to say muscle weighs more than fat. Muscle is more dense. A pound of muscles weighs the same as a pound of far. The difference is the fat will take up more space.

comment Is there any benefit of “real” running outdoors vs running on a treadmill in gym?
I think it's too personal for a blanket statement. I feel less stress after a treadmill run than out on the street for one. especially when considering I don't have to contend with traffic or traffic lights. I hate running in place for example.

I would add that a treadmill can force you to run harder. Whether that is a good or bad thing depends on your desires as well as your motivation to keep a higher pace.
