What to do first, stretching or walking? My track team always does a two lap easy jog before we begin stretching. I'm not sure why, but I assume a D1 coach knows what he's doing. |

Daily weight variance - as high as 2 or 3 percent? I wouldn't worry about it too much. I do the same routine everyday and randomly weigh between 140 and 150 lbs at the same time of day. |

Constantly feeling tired despite sufficient sleep and regular exercises. This probably isn't it -- but as a last resort, have you had your ferritin (iron) levels checked? My sister was constantly getting tired and finally found out she was anemic. Once she started taking iron, she got her energy back. |

Will developing my leg muscles improve my running? Elite athletes weight-train and cross-train as well, although I'm not sure if the purpose is injury prevention or improvements to their running. Gebrselassie both weight-lifts and rides the stationary bike. |

Will developing my leg muscles improve my running? VERY good statement. Out of 7 years of running, this is the first year that I cut weight-training out of the program. It is also the first time I have ever been injured (knees), and a severe injury at that -- I'm going on seven months of not being able to walk normally even. |

Any suggestions on dealing with a longer-term shoulder injury? Thanks! I'm glad to hear it's feeling better. I think my injury is going to take a lot more patience than I had anticipated as well. |

Any suggestions on dealing with a longer-term shoulder injury? Hey, I just wanted to see how you're doing now. I Googled "long-term pain" because I have it too, and I'm hoping to hear you're getting better. |
