How to accurately measure muscle mass versus body fat? The body fat measurement scales give you body fat as a % and your weight in kg (or lb). Hence, if you see your weight going up you can see if you're adding it as fat or muscle. Vice versa on the way down. |

Why don't my thighs hurt? It scales roughly linearly. 45 mins of hill work sounds about right. You should do 5-10 minutes warmup before hand and 5 ish minutes cooldown afterwards. This just means running at a quiet pace. When doing the hillwork run the hills hard on the way up but coast on the way down. (Unless you're specifically training for downhill running.) |

Can wearing tights while running cause pain in my knees? Jannemans: It can be very had for runners to do but I strongly suggest following that advice. I've seen people who rush back too early continue to have problems and those that do follow the physio's instructions get back to running properly. |

Can wearing tights while running cause pain in my knees? Very common. Presumably you've been given instructions to rest and stretch? |
