How to lose weight if I have lower vertebrae problems? I am glad that you are working on good posture! That will help with a lot of problems. Also, losing weight and strengthening your core and back muscles will help. I mentioned in another comment that I have back pain from sciatica (not a disc problem, but still can be a chronic issue). I started doing Crossfit and losing weight, and I haven't had back pain in over 4 years. I think you are on the right track with losing weight and if the doctor recommends stretches, then follow his recommendations. |

How to lose weight if I have lower vertebrae problems? I will say, that I have a history of sciatica and I found that weight lifting in combination with yoga has helped my back problems. Stretching can be good if you get the proper exercises from a physical therapist or an orthopedist. But we also must remember that every person's recovery is different, and what works for them will be different as well. |

Sprain or strain - what's the difference and how to treat? Thanks @BackInShapeBuddy! I have never heard of the kinesiotape. I will recommend that to my patients next time I go to work! |

Thyroid test needs stomach to be empty or full? When you are testing blood sugar, the doctor usually likes to do it fasting. But you can test your blood sugar any time of the day. Does anyone in your family have diabetes? Are you gaining or losing weight for no reason? |

Thyroid test needs stomach to be empty or full? @Anisha Kaul Sugar can. When people's glucose gets too high, they can get really sluggish. And also, when your glucose levels are really low, you get tired. It is possible to go into comas just on a blood sugar levels. But that is going to an extreme. |

How does one train for sports when the three metabolic pathways interact? I asked because the coaches do lecture about the three pathways when you attend the class. I do Crossfit, but I do not have the knowledge that they have, so I do not want to pretend that I do. But they do talk about all three pathways and how they work. Or at least the coaches at my box do. |
