To what extent is strength training about optimal breakdown of muscles About 1. I think the difference between strength and bulk is not very big, and the optimal program for one would not be very wrong for a beginner without specific goals? If you do pushups with the purpose of becoming good at pushups its something else. |

Why are strength programs made the way they are - much of the same, regular intervals, same program for a long time What if I only do once a week? I used to think it is important for optimal training to hit the muscle just before it is recovered? Bench once a week in a gym and pushups at home would be a bit the same |

Why are strength programs made the way they are - much of the same, regular intervals, same program for a long time Must think about a better question. I am trying to get out exactly why strength is different from other types of training. Nobody would object if I want to mix running and bikinge. Its hard to figure out what to do if you want to mix home and gym training for example. |

What is core training and who should be doing it? How important is it for total muscle mass? (If you want to gain muscle mass to burn more fat) |

Why are strength programs made the way they are - much of the same, regular intervals, same program for a long time I would like to understand the principles. A beginner gets easily sore - starting a new exercise is perhaps a bit the same. Perhaps training is more efficient after that phase, several sets makes you move out of the beginner phase quicker and it is best to continue a while before you start over again. |
