If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, ...
If I know all mysteries and all knowledge, ...
If I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love,
I am nothing.
I hereby commit to contributing to this site without any rudeness, sarcasm, accusation, or any other unloving speech.

Does eating Nestle Fitness Cereal for weight loss require other nutrition? I remember this thread... but had no idea that you were the OP, Gigili! And my first comment should read: "...that is 1/10 of a TON of carbohydrates!" |

Get thinner thighs In Matt's answer, you'll notice the phrase "you can't Target areas ...". You'll see this theme over and again if you search the fitness.SE site. Just lose weight and hope it comes off in the right areas! |

Strength training weightlifting workout routine (+1). Could you please elaborate on what you mean by "...to adapt"? Adapt to what? How do you know if your body has adapted? |

Interval Timing Indicators I have been looking for the same thing! I have a tabata timer, but would like it to have options for different time intervals than 20s/10s. We do a lot of IFAM workouts... |

What can I do to tone up my bottom? @Matt: Out of curiosity, what are you getting at with your three (almost) identical comments on answers to this question? ... besides that you want some sort of description, obviously :) |

What can I eat first thing in the morning before a workout when I have no appetite? (Unsolicited) - "some" protein powder for me, when making such a pre-workout smoothie, means at most one serving. If you put all the other ingredients that Moses lists in a blender and just added (unflavored or vanilla) protein powder "to taste", you'd probably arrive at a similar formula. |

Knees hurt after running a few days in a row. Injury possible? Conventional wisdom suggests avoiding increases in mileage (kilometer-age??) more than 10% per week, so it sounds like you might be overdoing it. If you aren't injured, then just pull it back. Go back to walking and short jogs and gradually build up. |

Does eating Nestle Fitness Cereal for weight loss require other nutrition? FWIW... that is a TON of carbohydrates! My 1800 calorie daily intake has less than 100g of carbs (and 3x the protein, which helps my appetite and super huge muscles). But I'm just a stranger on the internet... :) |

Is running on treadmills easier than running outdoors because the ground is pulled beneath the runner? Friz, you haves proved my point. If you stand on pavement, you don't move. If you stand on the mile long treadmill for 10:00 (or whatever), then you'll be a mile away. It's not "the same work"! Your intuition doesn't gel with physics (work = F*D) |

Is running on treadmills easier than running outdoors because the ground is pulled beneath the runner? Guys, you have to WORK to create that momentum! And when I say "does not mean...", the idea is that the forces are not equal in magnitude nor direction. Biking is not running. Dead lift is not bench press. |
