How can I maintain my energy levels? Not all carbs are created equal Jay. Pasta, rice, oatmeal are good slow release carbs. Bread the way it is made today isn't: it's long past the time bread was made with only yeast, water and simple flour. |

Is there a best time of the day to exercise? On the other hand you're dehydrated and that's not even good for your joints / spine. I got these problems so I keep an eye out for these things. Getting hydrated takes time, about 4 hours. |

How quickly is a banana assimilated? Matt, you are right, but it's easy to see where the question is going as banana is one of the most common sport foods. |

Eating more and still losing weight Can't be too far either. Oatmeal, milk and cheese aren't very processed foods and we are breast-fed with milk for the first few months of life. |

Eating more and still losing weight Isn't olive oil rich in poly-insaturated fats? I consume about a pound of olive oil a month. |

How to practice for a half-marathon in three months while weight-lifting? Then you're already ahead ;-) but for the race you'll need shoes, if minimal. |

How to practice for a half-marathon in three months while weight-lifting? You already run pretty fast, you won't have a problem to run a half marathon. But I'm just going to suggest to switch to "good form running" youtube.com/watch?v=Q51W7dKaY94 |

Mineral water for sport and living @VPeric while I agree tap water is technically drinkable I don't think such high level of Chlorine are healthy in the long term. Plus Chlorine dehydrates you a little like alcohol does. Good water should be odorless and tasteless. |

Mineral water for sport and living Yes Sarge, thanks! Coincidentally he brings anemia (which I actually have) not sure how is that related to Mg or if he talks about it just with regards to supplements. |

Mineral water for sport and living While I could even agree in principle I was hoping for a more scientific answer |
