comment Sport that is less stressful to knees?
@gunbuster - there are a lot of people who actually weigh their meals or use pre-packaged meals to regulate their intake. There's also plates designed for portion control....it's all part of the process of weight management

comment How to strenghten my wrists?
A gallon container of water, rocks, etc. would work, it doesn't take much weight for you to feel it.

comment Taking a break from weightlifting - how often?
I agree that taking a short break isn't going to impact your strength/performance - HOWEVER you need to correct your stress/motivation levels, otherwise you may find yourself eventually taking a very long break. Find a sport, hobby, etc. that combines exercise (martial arts, volleyball, tennis) that will re-motivate you

comment Why is it beneficial for powerlifters and heavy weight olympic lifters to not have low body fat?
I'll have to get back to you with the reference, but thinking through it, if the person remains at the same bf% (say 25% which is a lot) and gains 10lbs - 7.5lbs is non-fat/lean body mass - somewhere half being muscle to support the additional size.

comment Can you overtrain?
So, are you attributing the people that are injured to over training? or to incorrect training for them? I think the interesting point is the 'garbage man' theory - where people are working out heavy every day as part of their jobs and not injured due to it...
