Good form with little weight or bad form with a lot of weight? I hesitate to downvote, but... was the sarcasm really necessary? Answers like this imply the asker should have known the answer without asking. I think the question was sound and we shouldn't create an atmosphere where inexperienced people are afraid to ask things others might think are obvious. |

Obtaining protein from alternative non-meat sources for bodybuilding @gilzero - I agree. Why not make that an answer? |

Am I in “starvation mode”? Is it possible you're eating more than 2000 calories and you've missed something in your calculation? Maybe you're underestimating the caloric content of something you eat regularly? |

Is it possible for one of a pair of muscles to feel the burn more than the other muscle in the pair? +1 Yes. It's normal for the muscles on one side of the body to be conditioned differently than the other. Also, it's possible that the parameters of the exercise may be different from one muscle to the next. Maybe one leg is slightly longer than the other (it's not that unusual!), maybe the curl machine is tilted slightly so one side has better leverage. |

What should skinny people do to track progress? +1 Everybody, whether skinny or fat, needs to track how much weight they're lifting, and try to make that number go up. |

How deep should a squat be? Thanks for the "third world squat" article. A good read. |

How deep should a squat be? @friz is right. Although you should be careful that your knees don't stick out father than your toes, your knees will by necessity move forward a bit when you squat. Because of that, stopping when you reach a 90 degree angle between your shins and femur would mean that you actually don't quite reach parallel with the ground. |
