comment Is taking a set to failure recommended for any type of lift or goal?
I once read an article that said going to failure when working for strength is not recommended, but when working for mass there can be some benefits. When I'll find the article again I will post it as an answer.

comment Quads vs Hamstrings in Squats and Lunges
I'm not sure about lunges, but with squats it depends on how low you go. If you reach parelel then you will feel the glutes and hamstrings otherwise it is only a quad exercise which is why you will only feel the quads.

comment What is the correct form for seated shoulder press with dumbbells?
@DavidR so what you're saying is that it isn't necessarily wrong but simply lacks the benefit of also engaging the core while working the shoulders?

comment what is burnt first, muscles(protein) or fat
It will be fat first. As long as you don't go into starvation mode (which happens when you decrease to a dangerously low amount of calories) and you continue to work on your muscles you will be burning fat and not muscles.

comment When does one choose the 33lb bar vs 45lb bar?
In my gym we actually have olympic bars that are equally wide but shorter than the 45 pounders.

comment grams of protein vs calorie intake
@Informaficker I have actually been very careful with what I eat. I don't eat fried I started eating veggies, and overall i try to eat clean. I do think that maybe I maybe eating too much, so this why I wanted to tighten my band so I will be forced to eat. This will make it harder for me to eat large meals, but shakes I will still be able to drink. hence my question, but from your answer i get the feeling that by tightening I will still be able to get stronger because I dont need as much as I thought i do.

comment grams of protein vs calorie intake
Actually the reason why i dont want to simply eat every time I feel hungry is because I am very prone to gaining weight. I used to be very overweight and then I did a weight loss surgery. As it happens I have been getting stronger but along with that my pants are getting tighter around my waist. This is why I really want to eat less.

Are you still at 12 stone or have you lost a lot of weight due to the very low calorie intake?

comment Should my wrists have the pressure on them when I benchpress?
I'm not really sure what you mean when you say that this sounds dangerous, especially since I found nobody saying that the wrists should be bent back while doing my research on this issue. Additionally, when you say that the bar should not be too close to the knuckles, if by that you mean that the bar should rest on the bottom part of the palm then I fully agree, and I realize now that I should have mentioned that in my answer.

comment Why is the weight not dropping off?
Do you feel a difference in how your cloths fit? The reason I ask is because the scale tells you a very complex story, where as the cloths fitting better means one thing; it means that you're getting slimmer.

Sounds like a question suited more for a doctor, or maybe even a judgment call on your part based on how you feel.

comment Pain in left palm while doing push-ups
have you tried doing push ups on a soft surface like carpet or a yoga mat? I don't know if it would make a difference which is why I'm not answering it just commenting, but if you haven't it might be worth a shot.

comment Are sit-ups harmful to female anatomy?
The sit up does not only work on your abs it also works on the hip flexors where as the crunches work the abs only.livestrong.com/article/441343-situps-vs-crunches Now this article does not state that crunches are more effective it only describes the differences. There is an article that I once read that says crunches are also more effective, but I cant find that one at this time. From my own experience tho I can say for sure that at least for me sit ups never burned quite like the crunches.

comment Are sit-ups harmful to female anatomy?
Although this wont answer your question, but I feel I sugest you try crunches as opposed to sit ups as you will a stronger burn with far less effort on your abs. There was a point in time when I first started working out I was only able to do about 50 sit ups, and then a few days later tried crunches instead and I could not get passed 20.
