comment Does humidity reduce oxygene absorption?
I suspect the that the problem is temperature, humidity will make it more difficult to cool down by sweating. What was the temperature when the humidity was 75%? ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9309637

comment How many Burpees do I have to do per day to lose a lot of fat fast?
Although exercise can help with weight loss, the biggest contribution to weight loss is diet. In rough figures 100g of chocolate (my weakness) = 500+ calories which would equate to a 4 mile run. In general people tend to eat more after exercise offsetting the calories burned.

@JohnP Thanks, I didn't take the efficiency on a bike into consideration.

I think your calorie -> watts calculations are a bit out. 1 calorie = 4.19 watt seconds. 200 watt hours = 171.9 kcal

comment How can I make exercise more interesting?
Perhaps you know this, but in general exercise only forms a small part of weight loss. Most weight loss comes from a permanent change to your diet.

comment Do the squats Zack and Cloud do actually do anything in real life
I'd agree with LarissaGodzilla. Squats as shown in the game are pretty awful and really only work the legs. But squatting with weights, overhead or front or back squats can be a very effective exercise. bodybuilding.com/fun/…

comment I run one hour without a break everyday. Am I over training?
You may not be over training, but whether this is a good training regime depends on what you want to achieve. You may be doing "Junk Miles".

comment Are sprouts a good replacement for animal/whey protein?
"We all know that your average person will not read 'apple', but 'chocolate bar'." Yes, I'd agree with that. But the average person considers a 30 minute run as training for a marathon. Regarding protein requirements the question is about maintaining lean muscle mass in a 160lb person and to maintain muscle actually requires a lot less protein than to manufacture new muscle. Again, you are right that the GDA figure is on the low side for somebody who is well muscled, rather than carrying a lot of fat.

That 120 grams of sugar comes pretty much from sugars in fruit and veg. 1 apple can have 23 grams of sugar. But yes, newer research has shown that less sugar is better.

It depends on age/sex/weight, but those GDA amounts are for somebody reasonably active maintaining their weight / lean mass. (But not body building). EG a 25 year old man 160lbs 5ft9 tall working out 3 times a week would require about 2350 calories a day, and those protein amounts a for somebody requiring 2400 calories a day.
