PhD student and a lifetime sports enthusiast.

I have tried a large variety of ball sports, and have took training in basketball, football and tennis. Actively participate in a wide variety of sports, on a regular basis, given that the work or injuries don't interfere.

In addition to basketball and football, I play a variety of racket sports such as squash, badminton and table tennis; beach volley, futsal. I also try and follow rugby, american football, handball and track running (sprinters).

@DaveLiepmann I cant do proper dips or pullups, likewise deadlifts, due to pretty nasty injuries that have plagued me for years. That's essentially why I asked that particular question. It's hard to find good workouts that I "should be" doing, to make the muscles around those joints stronger

Do these tighter, longer shorts need to be compression apparel or just longer and preferably seamless fabric?

comment Loosening tight muscles?
Did you try seeing a naprapath? They are practically chiropractors with more focus on muscles instead of just cracking bones.

comment Are there any reasons not to blend different types of protein powder?
@JohnP what about diversifying the sources of protein to get different composition of vitamins/minerals etc, or decrease the risk of overloading a particular type of nutrition?
