comment How many calories should I intake and how much should I “spend” daily?
@conman how about citing a scientific journal that has supporting evidence that everyone's body responds the exact same way to the same dietary intake. I can provide other sources for you, I don't have any journal subscriptions though, as they're incredibly expensive

@conman what would you accept as evidence? there's plenty out there already, so if you're objecting to the idea now you've already rejected what you've seen that supports it

@Moses no, that is not the correct comparison. the correct comparison is to understand that two different people are two different people and that on the same diet they will react differently

@Moses all things aren't equal. Different people are different. You could have someone eating 4k calories per day steadily losing weight and another person gaining weight on 2k calories per day, both with the same exercise program.

There's no scientific evidence that supports the calorie hypothesis either. All you have is scientists making assumptions to try to fit the data to the hypothesis.

I'd lean towards possibly a nerve problem, which puts this in recommending you see a doctor territory.

comment I have extremely bad posture, what can I do?
Worth looking into incline dumbbell shrugs. I did them for a while for that reason, but decided to drop them as I felt the core lifts were doing the job.

comment I have extremely bad posture, what can I do?
if they're unconditioned, see what happens from doing the good standbys of deadlifts, squats and presses. if they're still hunched after a basic lifting program, it's worth looking at exactly why it is that they're hunched
