I have a Bachelor's in Exercise Science with a concentration in Wellness and Cardiac Rehabilitation. I am currently earning my Masters in both Healthcare and Business Administration.
I spent all of my high school years involved in sports (tennis, track, cross country, swimming ) and my college years involved in fencing, swimming, and being a gym-rat. I spent my first year post-college in a competitive cycling shop. I then became part of a hospital system where I continue to run a Wellness Gym, perform various screenings, educate staff and the public on various health issues, and provide counselling for those that need help.

when to use vibrating platforms We performed a study where the subject performed a vertical jump without a warm up. They rested for 5 minutes and then stood on a vibrating plate for varying intervals. After each vibrating interval they were then asked to jump as high as they could again. We actually found that anything over 20 seconds and less than a 80 seconds had no effect on the jump; but, did improve the jump by and average of 3.5 inches. After 80 seconds the subjects either jumped the same height or less. |

Can I do cardio exercises after an appendicitis operation? There shouldn't be a real reason to see a PT with an appendectomy. You need to clear exercise with your doctor (should only take a phone call and you will probably only talk to a nurse/mid level). If you start before your wound has completely healed it can cause major issues. The problem with looking up average recovery times from specific surgeries is that everyone recovers differently. |

Should I use any supplements to get quicker result? @ Marco, you most certainly can do your body harm by consuming too much protein. People with kidney issues should never consume too much protein. Just like people with congestive heart failure are limited in the amount of water they can drink. |

Correct seated Row technique I don't know how I feel about companies/websites coming in to pimp themselves out on stack exchange. I will say the answer is correct though. No upvotes for conflicted feelings. |

Is protein powder recommended for older people after workouts? Also remember that protein from food is the best. However, if you find that you are lacking in the amount of protein you need then powders are a good substitute. |
