10% sugar in berries — what's the rest? Isn't fiber included in "other carbohydrates" on the nutrition label? |

Is melted cheese less healthy than unmelted cheese? Could you please cite some references for American cheese? Cheap American cheese (the processed kind) is made with milk, whey, milk fat and whey protein concentrate. It's protein content is similar to other cheeses. |

What should I eat to recover from eating only `raw' fruits and vegetables for 6 months? You've got the 40/30/30 ratio wrong. That's calories, not grams. A 2000 calorie diet should be 200g carbs, 150g proteins, 67g fats. |

Why is it beneficial for powerlifters and heavy weight olympic lifters to not have low body fat? If you're gaining weight, and you're not training, I'm gonna bet your BF% is going up. :) |

Can an active person eat more cholesterol? All the cholesterol is in the yolk. That's why Jay limits himself to 2. 12 would probably be unhealthy, even for an active person. |

Why is it beneficial for powerlifters and heavy weight olympic lifters to not have low body fat? I'm skeptical of the 4lbs muscle claim. Do you have a reference? |

Tingling in fingertips and lips on a hard run I wasn't running fast to burn more calories, but rather to get faster. However, I'll just have to improve more gradually. Thanks. |

When “complimenting” proteins, how do you determine the amount of complete protein? You may be interested in this article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_combining |

Crunches before or after sit-ups? It's less effective to exercise a tired muscle? I would have thought that it wouldn't matter so long as you go to failure. |

Crunches before or after sit-ups? @Ivo Filipse, I was wondering whether wearing-out the abdominals would make the sit-ups less effective. I've read you're supposed to do certain exercises before others, but I don't always understand why. |
