comment Weight vs resistance
I see your point but let's use another example. Sometimes I use a device similar to a thigh master to tone my chest. If it provides 20lbs of resistance, how does that differ from me sitting on a bench doing butterflies with 2 10lbs dumbells?

increasing your intake of high fiber foods can make you feel fuller, longer.

comment Weight vs resistance
Great info but except for the last part, does not answer my question at all. When all is equal (machines or not), what is the difference between resistance (be it from a spring or tension) and actual weight (moving a heavy object)

comment What additional nutrition should I consider when starting to train in Muay Thai?
During wrestling practice I would lose 5-8 pounds each practice.

comment The Honey Diet - Why doesn't it work?
right, because honey is already processed - nothing to break down except the fructose (done in the liver). The skeptics ask the same questions that you pointed out, "how can you lose weight when you're adding calories at a time when metabolism is low?". So where does the fat-burning come in?
