right, because honey is already processed - nothing to break down except the fructose (done in the liver). The skeptics ask the same questions that you pointed out, "how can you lose weight when you're adding calories at a time when metabolism is low?". So where does the fat-burning come in?

Are you going at this alone or with a trainer/camp? If going with a trainer/camp then they should have a regimine that they use or they can build one for you.

@Ivo great answer. It covers all of what i've found in my own research. However, the elipticals don't all use air resistence (actually think thats just the first models only). All of the machines i've used and own use either a magnetic system or a belt tensioner.

comment Is it possible to “tone” up your muscles?
"you can do more reps with lighter weights to make your muscles look better in a relaxed state, and less reps with heavier weights to make them look better in a contracted state" - I like that explination

@md5sum as far as DOMS, you are correct no stretching is going to solve or prevent DOMS due to the definition of DOMS and I never said that. My statement was stretching can help stiffness and soreness and it does. I dont have a problem with DOMS because I'm careful and follow rules such as 'stagered workouts' and proper recovery times. Ivo thats a good point but 24 rest period is the de-facto norm. If your muscles havent recovered then all your doing at that point is straining them and causing injury
