I'm just a guy who likes the gym. I do the 5/3/1 Program 4 days a week, and read as much fitness-related info as I can.

Which is the best free software to follow a personal fitness program at home? 1) A vibration machine will do absolutely nothing to improve your fitness. 2) What is a "musculation machine"? |

Will a boxing bag as my primary workout be okay for my cardio and weight loss? He means the best way to burn fat is to eat less ("push away from the table"). |

Pain in forearm while doing bicep curls @JohnP: I'm not certain this qualified as a medical question. He's not asking for a diagnosis or a treatment. If someone asked about tightness in their legs after running, would we hesitate to talk about foam rolling the IT band? |

Is my mass gainer supplement ideal? Also, there's fundamentally no difference between "eating more" and drinking a shake. They're both calories, and so both will make you equally fat (more or less). |

Gymspeak for spotting I think the second part is more important. Just tell them. "I only want help unracking and reracking the bar. Otherwise, please don't touch the bar unless I ask you to." |

Eating pasta and developing a sixpack She said in the original that she intended to make sure she had enough protein in her diet. It's entirely possible to eat at a deficit, eat high-carb foods, and get enough protein. |

Home weight gaining exercise list The asker is clearly looking for exercises and routines that can be done at home with dummbells or other minimal equipment. Do you think that 5x5 really fits with that goal? |

Building a first-time workout based on my lifestyle I just want to add that calling the deadlift, squat, etc "advanced movements" is perhaps overstating things. If you can find someone knowledgeable to teach you, that can be very helpful. If not, just start with light weights, watch as many videos demonstrating the form as you can, and stop if a movement is actually painful. |

Training upper body without stressing lower body Can you explain what you mean by "Planks... are not all that challenging for the abs area after one moment onwards"? Do you mean that planks are a hard position to assume, but then are easy to hold? |
