I'm a software engineer.

I started training with weights seriously about three years ago when my coworkers got me into CrossFit. Before that I'd been seriously into yoga.

I am by no means an expert but I am continually educating myself on fitness, and training myself. My ideal physique is strong and "functional". I want it all: strength, power, speed, and endurance. The only sport I play is tennis.

BW: 173lbs Bodyfat: ~13-14%

Current best lifts as of Dec. 2012 (in pounds):

315 back squat (ass to grass)
385 deadlift
145 shoulder press
145 overhead squat
225 squat clean
14 strict pullups

I think my questions explain my downvote. He is not a unique snowflake with special fitness needs. You can't go five clicks on this site or any other fitness site without finding exactly the information he's looking for.

I don't have a FS of 175. More like 275.

I think so too! And i do think this lift can turn you into a beast. I can't think of a single person who can overhead squat big weight who isn't just in great shape.

Have you made any effort, at all, towards answering your own question? And if you aren't going to be satisfied with Gold's Gym's answer, what is going to satisfy you?

Oh, and I don't belong to an gym with bumper plates, so practicing the snatch is more difficult. Le sigh.

press: 145 jerk: 185-195 weight: 175 max OHS: 135 snatch: I don't work this lift. It's all down to the mobility issues I've mentioned. And it's not a near-term goal. It's something I'd like to accomplish this year, perhaps.

comment What is the optimal time to train in order to see gains in size and strength?
Title of question is misleading. It feels like it's going to be a time of day question, but it's not. Moreover, the actual question has been answered several times already.

comment How can I improve my training program to become leaner and increase strength?
BTW I do want to echo something that Kate was hinting at. Which is, basically, that I think your program should be effective. If you stay with it for a few weeks I think you would see results on it.
