comment Training scheme - full body or by muscle groups
Hormonal response is significantly improved by performing big, compound movements. Unless you're using steroids, a 5-day split won't build muscle as well as, say, a push/pull/legs or upper/lower program such as Wendler 5/3/1.

comment Is it better to take a nap or work out?
Why is it that an hour of sleep would make me more "damaged"?

comment I have flabby arms and legs, but I'm light. What's going on and what should I do?
You need to work on building some muscle. BMI is a pretty useless figure: what is more important is your bodyfat percentage, which can be determined with some skin fold calipers (~$10 on amazon). You should be doing full-body movements like burpees to get a physique that is toned all around. Also things like air squats, jumping rope, pushups, inverted rows, step-ups, deadlifts, thrusters, and so on. Try doing them in a circuit, such as 10-15 reps of each movement back to back for 15-20 minutes. You can also add things like sprints. Try doing a 15-20 minute workout every day for a month.

comment Will eating only protein cause me to lose weight faster without muscle spoiling?
Your assertion that a diet high in fat will cause health problems needs a reference. Inuit have survived for eons eating diets composed of ~95% protein and fat: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inuit_diet

@DaveLiepmann I believe this question has its roots in this answer.

comment How long should i excercise?
"A successful workout shouldn't really exceed more than an hour to an hour and a half." -- I find this subjective. "Anything more and you start to slack off or give less intensity on the other exercises." -- This also seems subjective. Olympic weightlifters sometimes have 8 hour training sessions, same with a lot of sports. Furthermore, what makes a workout "successful"? This answer seems speculative.

comment How do I construct a cutting plan?
I bumped into Bernie Cooper once at a bar in Edinburgh and got a chance to pick his brain a bit. He said when he cuts, he keeps his diet exactly the same as during a bulk, but adds in some HIIT three times a week.

This is a much better answer than the accepted "google it".

I think your advice is solid, especially for someone new to squatting. I'm a fan of Broz too. I don't see any reason to delete it, since someone else may stumble across it and find it helpful.
