comment Stronglifts 5v5 : Where do I go from here?
@MarcoLeblanc I find the hip drive the most difficult part also. That and looking at the floor, my head always creeps up and I end up looking towards the mirror. Agree - practicing form with lighter weight helps immensely. Good luck on Sat!

This is good advice. You need to rectify your squat form. The fact you say "perhaps not 100% perfect form" worries me a little (almost like you know your squatting incorrectly). Check out this video it helped me link If anything the squat should strengthen your knee joint. I am going to make a guess that your not squatting parallel. Your hip joint should be just below your knee joint if you look in the mirror at the lowest part of your squat.

comment I am hitting walls with my lifts, how can I progress?
thanks Berin, I'm currently trying to add more muscle mass. I have started adding creatine into my supplement regime, and taking your advice of increasing my reps. I found that I am able to do more reps on 90kg, which is definitely progress for me. thanks

comment I am hitting walls with my lifts, how can I progress?
thanks Dave, I've been logging my food on fitbit this weekend and I think one of my major points is my lack of calories. So I'm going to increase my food and go from there. Thanks for your help.

comment I am hitting walls with my lifts, how can I progress?
Hi Dave, I have the pdf and have made my way through it. I try multiple attempts on the same weight if I fail, and de-load my weight then make my way back up to it. I'm doing very light stuff on my inbetween days, mainly abs / cardio. And I don't do a thing on sat/sun. I have dropped back with press / bench but I keep getting stuck at my wall. I'm just trying to find out if I'm to push on dropping down my weight and keep re-attempting. From both of your advice if I 100% need rest inbetween, no abs / cardio then I'll take that advice and change these days to make sure I let my body fully rest.

hey Kate, my body weight has been hovering around the same (80kg) but my body fat has gone from around 18% to about 16.5% which I'm very happy with. I can understand what you say about not giving my body enough rest but I don't do any large muscle groups on T/Th, I just do light work and cardio / abs. Nothing heavy.
