comment Caloric benefit to working out in hotter temperatures?
Obviously you want to burn more calories than you consume if you're trying to lose fat. The question here is really about the science behind calorie burn, and how being in a warmer room (and thus effecting your body temperature) affects that burn.

comment Not eating dinner, benefits and detriments?
I would also add that once you go under a certain amount of calorie intake you risk losing muscle along with the fat, which isnot at all what you want. That's one of many reasons why it's important to pair healthy eating with exercise.

comment Drink beer after gym?
In addition to the answer below, I would add that it also depends on what your goal is. If, for example, you are working out because you are trying to burn fat, drinking beer post-workout is probably not a good idea if for no other reason than the fact that overweight people tend to be inclined to lose restraint with food when they consume alcohol. One beer probably isn't a big deal, but if it leads to two, three, and so on, we're talking more calories from beer and the potential to overeat as a side effect.

comment What is the best way to train at the gym for weight loss purposes?
@GetFitChamp, I definitely agree with you - pairing the proper diet with exercise is extremely important. I didn't mention the food aspect because the title asks "What is the best way to train at the gym for weight loss purposes?" But your point is key - weight control boils down to burning more calories than you consume.
