comment Why do I get nauseous after working out, but ONLY in the afternoon or early evening?
I would bet it is related to a fluctuation in insulin levels as a result of what you're eating. Tell me what you eat for breakfast and lunch, what time you eat those meals, and what time your afternoon or early afternoon workout would be.

comment Exercises to improve speed and running ability
Before someone can really work on speed, they have to improve coordination. These drills will improve speed, but with someone who is so young, I imagine that the lack of speed is really a lack of coordination. These drills will improve coordination, and once it is improved, continued work will increase speed. If someone is already quite coordinated, their speed will be improved more readily when adding these drills to their program.

comment What did I do to my knee, and how should I recover?
I agree that ibuprofen shouldn't be taken to relieve sore muscles or on a regular basis as some people do. However, I stand by the belief that it is beneficial in the case of an injury. Speaking of injuries, you never updated us after your physical therapy appointment.

comment 800-Calorie Diet
1200 calories is the minimum amount of calories that I suggest for anyone. If you are in a wheelchair 800 calories might make sense but if not, like others have said, it isn't a good idea.

comment As a hardgainer, how do I get the right balance of calories to add size without adding fat?
Spell out exactly what your diet consists of for one day. Include the time of your meals, and portion sizes. Diet plans should be very specific, and if you don't know your total grams of protein, carbs, and fat, you're not going to be able to make the right adjustments.

comment Running - should it be done when you're hungry?
You will go right to burning glycogen, or if you are eating low carbs, you will go right to burning fat.

Look here to see exactly where the ACL, MCL, and patellar tendon are located, and you'll see that they are not in the locations that you pointed at in the images...breg.com/patient_education/knee.html

I don't think you had a strain to your ACL and/or MCL, because it could not possible heal in 3 days. You said the pain around your knees was new since you started wearing your vibrams. I understand that you are able to be more aware of your foot when you're wearing them, but they caused the instability in the first place. Your right knee is rotating inward because your feet do not have the arch support that they do in standard tennis shoes. Not because the vibrams are bad for you, but because it's not what you're used to. Also, if you're removing explosive movements, you are taking my advise.

comment Are Body proportions Charts Realistic?
Considering your height, weight, and bodyfat, your bodyfat is too high to compare yourself to a proportion chart. As I said, it is intended to be a reference for someone who is very lean. When I say lean, I'm talking about 8% or below for men. Although you said that your legs are lean, I beg to differ. Some people store fat interstitially (within the muscle) and can have separation between muscles that makes them look leaner than they actually are.

Also, your actual height and weight would be more helpful than your weight to height ratio.

You can drink the shake after cardio, or just between meals.

comment What is a “Runners High”?
I think that the feeling you are referring to is more often called being "in the zone". I just don't think most people reach a runner's high in the beginning of a run. The feeling you described that you feel after a run sounds more like what I experienced and considered to be a runner's high.

comment neck pain vs. head orientation
I believe so. You are keeping those muscles contracted for an extended period of time without extending the muscle out. Over time this can actually shorten the muscle fiber which could eventually cause structural issues in your neck.
