comment Protein powder?
Make sure to pay attention to cost and any "filler" ingredients. Don't pay for useless ingredients. Use a good quality whey protein.

comment Core training on “rest” days
I think it will depend on your level of training intensity and your ability to recover. What you've described does not appear to be "pushing too much". In fact, Yoga would be a good way to "rest".

comment How much weight lifting will require me to eat protein supplements?
I'm a bit confused by your response. It may be because the way it's written, you appear to be expressing your opinion. I'm not sure how you can make some of the assertions you state in the last two sentences of your answer.

comment It is possible to achieve low body fat % without cardio?
Exactly. While stripping body fat will showcase the abs to a degree, there's no guarantee that you'll have a six pack simply because you've lost subcutaneous fat. You've still got to spend the time to build the abs (like any other body part) and rely on genetics. Having said that, there are some people that don't have to work as hard for great abs (or some other body part). Those people are "blessed" with good genetics. They just put their hands on weights and grow. It real comes down to one's definition of "six pack".
