comment Should I stretch after exercise?
I've seen no evidence that stretching has a positive effect on your muscles. If they feel tight or sore, work out at a low intensity until you feel better.

Being able to put your legs in your neck @Kronos? But honestly, you shouldn't be needing it unless you have some kind of limitation due to immobility or misuse.

comment Should I stretch after exercise?
Because your mixing up stretching to increase your range of motion and stretching as a misperceived way of reducing injury. I will post an answer tomorrow, but I'm reviewing some articles to base it upon. It's not meant personal, but there's a problem with users extrapolating from their experience to other cases, where it might not hold true.

comment Why rest between sets?
Well you would want to rest, because it was intense. Either you can't do anything at all or the muscle doesn't have the energy to do it. As for what kind, there's a difference between taking sprints, bench pressing as much weight as possible or doing arm curls with a 10kg weight. Do you expect me to answer for every kind of workout + intensity?

comment Should I stretch after exercise?
I strongly disagree with this unfounded answer. While don't know of any studies focusing on body building or martial arts, nor stretching after a workout; there's no evidence whatsoever that this does help either.

comment Should I stretch after exercise?
After what kind of exercise? And what kind of stretching would you do?

comment Why rest between sets?
Between what kind of repetitions? What kind of workout? How intensive is the workout? This questions is far too general

Where in your knees do you feel the pain and how long (distance/time) do you run per week on average

comment What swimming technique is more effective for a cardio workout?
Note: I'm coming from a waterpolo background, which 'overly' focuses on short distance sprints. Therefor, your mileage may vary with the best size of the intervals. I'd suggest asking a different question when you want a more tailored advice on a training program

comment Home Gym: Is an elliptical trainer alone enough?
That would have been good to know beforehand ;-) BTW: another good thing of the elliptical is that opposed to cycling, you're off your butt which makes the workout harder. Also compared to a treadmill, there's no 'hard' landing which is nicer on your knees (and other joints)
