Which protein shake I should take as a beginner? per gram of protein, I'm not endorsing the substitution of supplements for real food, but some people (including myself) can't afford all the fish/chicken in a day, plus its a lot harder to ingest |

Which protein shake I should take as a beginner? protein supplements are cheaper to buy than food, they give you your essential protein and amino acids, but not the other stuff you get from food.. I think thats the main argument for getting your protein from food than from supplements |

Beating hunger and managing calories Awesome, thanks for the tip... also I'm 154lbs (I re weighed myself tonight and I'm 11 stone exactly), although its still considered to be quite thin. I'll bear in mind what you're saying. What is an idea post workout meal? |

Beating hunger and managing calories thanks for the suggestions, I'll try that next time... maybe split it into two portions. I'm working out maximum 3 times a week, sometimes two |

Beating hunger and managing calories Hmm, I usually drink a lot of water after my workout (around 1.5 litres in the 4/5 hours after it), i'll keep it in mind though |

Full body workouts and rest periods Thanks for the advice Dave. My workouts are pretty intense, I was sore for a good 4 days after my last one (my hardest yet), so I skipped a gym session because I've read before that if your muscles are sore then they aren't fully recovered yet. Even with sore muscles, the 3 day schedule is okay? Do you have any links on this? |
