Optimal method to vary muscle group recruitment? Thanks for the detailed writeup. Regarding the 3-day split, I'm still worried that doing biceps (for example) only once a week is too infrequent to build mass. I know lots of people do this, I'm just thinking about this chart and wondering whether its too infrequent. |

Is it healthy to exercise a muscle when it's still sore? @samuelandrew This isn't the sort of thing you'll be able to "feel", this is about the underlying physiology. The general rule is 2-3 days for most muscles. |
