Male/Female? This affects what is expected for your Calorie intake more than height and current weight.

Aug 22, 2012 at 20:42 | comment | added | Kobojunkie | As for cloth fit, I actually still wear the same size as when I started, only the same cloths fit a bit better. I expected to have gone down at least a size but that has not been the case. My waist size is still at around 30inches. And hips are still at about 40, as when I started. I almost feel that eating gets in the way of my goals.
Aug 22, 2012 at 20:41 | comment | added | Kobojunkie | Those I started with have long achieved their goals and are working on maintenance. I even went up to averaging about 80 miles a week on my bike, and did not notice much of a change in my weight.
Aug 22, 2012 at 20:39 | comment | added | Kobojunkie | There is everything wrong with 10lbs in 8 months considering the amount of work I do to loose more than that. That rate, it will take me another 2 years to loose some of the 30lbs left. lol . .I think it should be more considering the amount of work and effort I have put into this so far.

Aug 22, 2012 at 17:29 | comment | added | usedToBeFat | Do you feel a difference in how your cloths fit? The reason I ask is because the scale tells you a very complex story, where as the cloths fitting better means one thing; it means that you're getting slimmer.

Aug 22, 2012 at 15:48 | comment | added | user3085 | What's wrong with 10lbs in 8 months? Why do you think it should have been faster?

Aug 22, 2012 at 6:17 | comment | added | Kobojunkie | Well, I still have lots of belly fat to pull on, and if I have been gaining muscle all this while, I should have been loosing fat at a higher rate than I have so far. 10lbs in 8 months is a very low.
Aug 22, 2012 at 5:43 | comment | added | user3085 | @Kobojunkie Why don't you believe you are gaining more muscle than fat? Have you measured?
Aug 22, 2012 at 5:34 | comment | added | Kobojunkie | I average about 2000 calories per day. I am stronger but I don't believe I am necessarily gaining more muscle weight over fat.

Aug 22, 2012 at 3:16 | comment | added | user3085 | How many calories per day do you eat? Are you getting stronger? How has your bodyfat percentage changed?
Aug 22, 2012 at 2:50 | comment | added | JohnP♦ | You are missing a lot of information. How are you tracking calories? What do you do during the day other than the 10 miles cycling? What speed do you cycle at? What is your current height/weight?
