As you already stated, the essence is that there is a significant difference (in EMG activation) between pronated and supinated grip, but no significant difference between wide grip and narrow grip (lat pull downs). | |

Yes, that paper is very close to your question, although (as I mention in my post) they look at the lat pull-down instead of the pull-up, since it is easier to control other experimental variables (electrode placement, etc). Unfortunately I only have access to the abstract, but it is enough to answer your question. | |
