Are untrained muscles (withand related tissues like ligaments and tendons) different from strong trained muscles, except for being less strong?
Should Similarly, should “untrained” people train different in the beginning, before they start to focus on breaking down muscles to rebuild them stronger? What doeswould such a different kind of training look like?
How much would this be more about specific exercises than the muscles themselves? (Convict Conditioning advocates that people coming from other systems to start from the beginning).
Oz/Rozen advocates increasing effort slowly to give Contractile Proteine time to adapt, but I have not seen this written somewhere else (This is at the level of daily 30min walking for a long period, before introducing other forms of training).
I know about the Repeated-bout effect, but I also know it kicks in quite quickly.
Convict Conditioning. writes about giving the joints time to adapt, others talk about tendons.
I can imagine that also some muscles used in a movement can be weak, so if you start to hard, they will trained to hard?
There is also the Sodium-Potassium pump, and possibly other tissues and systems that reacts slower or differently to muscles to training.
