Mar 2, 2020 at 13:46 | comment | added | Chronocidal | An additional reason that Martial Artists practice knuckle pushups is to train the wrist, not the knuckles - done correctly (i.e. not like the picture OP has used) you keep the knuckles, wrist and forearm locked in a straight line - this directs the force straight back, without it twisting the wrist, and is how you should deliver a punch for both maximum impact on the target, and minimum risk of injury to yourself. A kinked wrist is a short, sharp knock away from a broken wrist. | |
