I may not be the oldest nerd but I'm getting there. I've been hooked on programming since my Uni days in 1974. I've covered lots but done most with Assembler, BASIC, C, COBOL, C++, Fortran, Javascript, Objective C, Pascal, PHP (put in alphabetical order just to annoy some) with all sorts of databases - I have a sticker on the back of my computer that says My Other Language is English.
Manager up to programmer. Procedural -> Object-Oriented. Corporate to fun. Client Server to standalone. Text to graphics. Mainframes to mobile. Punched tape to solid state. Nails & wires to bluetooth.
